As a bride, you only have, on average, 15 months to plan your wedding. During this short amount of time, you must become well versed in: traditional wedding photography vs. photojournalistic wedding photography, black and white photography vs. color vs. sepia toned prints, engagement photography, and much more. And, this is only for the photography portion of your wedding. Some may say that, after reception costs, you should spend the most amount on the photographer. Traditional wedding photography or “classic” style photography has been around the longest and is falling out of favor with brides because it typically comprises of posed shots. Your photographer will usually follow a list of required shots: Bride and Groom, Groom and Dad, Groom and wedding party….you get the idea. Traditioanl photographers usually are quite talented in portraiture. Every detail will be in place and their subjects will look great Body alignment, lighting, dress details, and the background will be perfectly composed.
